(Whole Chapter: In context: ) Psalms 127:3 - 4 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Deuteronomy 28: 3 - 4 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the offspring of thy kine, and the increase of thy sheep. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee. Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; (Whole Chapter: Deuteronomy 7 In context: Deuteronomy 7:13-15)
And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto
Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his
old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. Genesis 18: 12 - 13 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. John 1: 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Psalms 147: 13 For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee; Proverbs 10: 22 The blessing of Jehovah, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow to it.
When the LORD turned again
the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
Notwithstanding she shall
be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness
with sobriety.
And God Almighty bless
thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a
multitude of people;
